LC for Conflict Free Minerals Committee promotes the awareness of conflict minerals in our electronics and aims to make an impact on the conflict mineral trade by pressuring our technology companies to track their supply chains and not import minerals from conflict mines in Eastern Congo. LC4CFM uses our role as consumors in the West to create a demand for conflict free electronics by using Universities as to help change company policies.
